Case Studies

Case studies are crucial in developmental programmes because they serve as examples of general principles that can inform the direction of future activities within a project framework.

By investigating a case study it is possible to monitor the impact of a set of circumstances on a situation. The DWAF PFM case studies have been produced with the hope that valuable lessons can be learnt from situational analysis that can thus provide guidelines as to how to influence a situation to get the required outcome.

This summary of case studies gives an overview of challenges and opportunities experienced when involving communities in forest management and utilization
