PARTICIPATIVE FORESTRY PROJECTS
 
Introduction

The Directorate Forestry Development (Participative Forestry) in conjunction with DANIDA is supporting the establishment of community projects through regional Forestry staff. An estimated R2 million has already been spent from the Community Facilitation Fund to support the establishment of projects on the ground. The current projects include Beekeeping, which is a partnership with the Agricultural Research Council and the establishment of Medicinal nurseries, in partnership with various stakeholders.
